Paper Smooches Giving Thanks Challenge

Hi everyone!

Today I created a cute little card for this month's Paper Smooches Giving Thanks Challenge.

Paper Smooches Stamps truly have "the" cutest critter stamps EVER!

I love coloring them up and using them on my cards....

Today I used this adorable little deer stamp.

My color scheme for my card was inspired by the colors I chose for the deer.

Make A Wish....Batty Birthday Card

Hello lovelies!

Today I am sharing with you a fun little card I made for my friends birthday.

I am just getting to know this beautiful soul, but I still wanted to create her a personal card.

She has a tattoo of bunch of bats on top of her shoulder and up her neck, so I used this as inspiration for her birthday card. Hopefully she will like it!

Both the bat and the "make a wish" sentiment are from Paper Smooches.

I also stamped "happy birthday" inside.

Paper Smooches Christmas Cards

Hi everyone!
I don't need to go on and on about how long its been since I've posted....

BUT I will say this....I went on a scrapbooking retreat at the end of October with a group of long time scrapbook girlfriends. This seemed to light the creative fire again!! YAY!! I have been busy making cards AND scrapbooking ever since!!

Just wish I could have all my girls here to play with me....

Anyways....a little bit ago I started making Christmas cards....

just been in the MOOD!

Time to start decorating the house soon too...lol! 

YUP! I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!

Layered Paper !! Paper Smooches June Challenge

Hello all!

When I saw what this month's challenge was over at Paper Smooches I knew I HAD to participate....

Layered paper....ummm.....I am the queen of layered paper...lol!

At least it is something I love to do...mix and match and layer up....

So here is my take on the challenge...I chose to layer up using the Foliage die....

it helped me create this pretty little whimsy card :)

 Both with a touch of gold at the end of the rainbow....??

More than coffee....

 Hi everyone!

I've been very slowly getting back into my creative mode....

I did make some cute Christmas cards, but I didn't blog them....and now here I am making a single Valentine card.....a bit sporadic...but I think that is how creativity can be sometimes...ebb and flow.

Anyways, I wanted to share my card with all of you...hope you like it :)

The basic design came from an inspiration sketch from a facebook group I am a part of :

And of course I dug into my Unity Stamps. I used 

{you make me steamy}

And for the sentiment I used the June 2012 KOM

{sweet summer love}

I used the "I like you more than ice cream" stamp but I masked the "ice cream" part off so that I could change it to coffee to personalize my card....

a great way to get even MORE versatility out of you sentiments.

Anyways, there you have it!

My Mind's Eye Madness!!

PSSSTT.....a little birdie told me My Mind's Eye (MME) is doing a design team call!!

WAHOO!!

That same little birdie made a deal with me - you apply and I will too...SO here I am....

It's not like I don't create with MME ALL the time...(I have SO MUCH of their paper!!)

but rarely do I use one company's product exclusively.

But hey! I was up for the challenge.

I went through all my scrap stuff and pulled out all MME products, spread them out onto my table and got to work.

Being inspired by the Unity Challenge

Hello everyone!

There have been a lot of ups and downs in my world lately with this BIG move...

and even though I was so excited to get my scraproom all set up so I could get in there, it seems that I have been a bit of a procrastinator.
I'm not sure why?? 

I guess sometimes creativity ebbs and flows....

BUT I decided to sit my butt down in that room and get making something! Thank goodness for challenges - they help so much!!!

I played along with the Unity {be inspired} challenge this month:

I used the color inspiration plus I also loosely based my card on the sketch:

It felt great to create this little card and with the challenge it really came together easily!

Yay! I love it when that happens :)

The sentiment came from the {thankful & blessed} KOTM.

And once I made the card for the challenge the creativity was flowing a bit so I made another one!
This one has nothing to do with the challenge though...I had this sweet little peep all colored up and hanging out on my desk so I decided to use him.

I just love teal and red together :)
