Unity Thursday - Moon & Stars

It's Unity Thursday!
Hooray!

This week I have been playing with my gold embossing powder a bit...here is the card I came up with:
I combined my gold embossed image with some shading using my copic markers.
The way it turned out gives a unique look, perfect for this moon and stars stamp....I really like it, although its maybe a bit a different from my usual.

Supplies Used: Bazzill Cardstock & Kraft; We R Memory Keepers - Happy Campers 6X6 Paper Pad; XPress It Cardstock; Copics; Zing Embossing Powder - Gold; Tim Holtz Distress Embossing Ink; Staz-On Ink - Jet Black; Star Punch - EK Success/Stampin Up; Spellbinders - M-Bossibilities - So Trendy; Twine, Vellum & Photo Corners - Misc.

I created this fun card using the January 2014 Kit of the Month.

    Love your card! I've been shying away from colored embossing with my alcohol markers due to bleeding. Maybe I just need to give it another try ;)

    The stamped image is just beautiful with all the embossing in gold. And that gem you added makes me think how I can use mine I've been stashing for a while.

    This is SO pretty. When I got the KOTM, I didn't know what I'd do with this stamp, although it's so pretty. I love the layering look!
