Unity Thursday - Inspiration All Around

Hi everyone!!
It's a great day for inspiration!

Actually I have had a week of inspiration.
Yesterday I posted a card I created for Inspiration Wednesday on the Unity blog.
I used a tattoo for inspiration.

Today, my card came from multiple sources of inspiration....

Inspiration #1:

Today is the first day of the January Unity {be inspired} challenge.
I used both the card sketch and the color inspiration from this month on my card.

Inspiration #2:

This amazing layout by Jill Sprout for Jenni Bowlin.

A crafty friend of mine posted a layout on her blog referring to this same creation by Jill.
So if it wasn't for my friend, I would not have come across this particular layout even though, I DO follow Jill Sprout pretty faithfully.
SO...yes!! The inspiration for my card came from this layout BUT it also came from friend.

Phew...that's a lot of places to get inspired for one little card...
BUT I am thrilled with the result!
This card is a little different for me, but I think it fits right in with my usual style:

Do you see all the inspiration in this card??
The sketch has the hearts centered but I off set them so they would show off all the detail in my paper patchwork and to reflect the layout design a bit more....all in all I think the two worked together perfectly.

The Unity Stamps I used to create this card:
I embossed this background stamp onto two vellum hearts using white embossing powder.

And the sentiment came from this Kit of the Month:

I hope you all check out the January Unity {be inspired} challenge this month!
I would love to see what you all create! Plus there are prizes!!
