Unity Thursday...sweet summertime!

Hi everyone!!

This week Unity has some brand new stamps for you to check out!

I made this card using this brand new little owl {itty bitty}....LOVE him!
Check out this adorable stamp here.

Supplies Used: Bazzill Cardstock; Darice Embossing Folder Circle Interlock; Simple Stories Baby Steps 6X6 Paper Pad; EK Success Slim Edge Punch - Dotted Lattice; Jenni Bowlin Tab Punch - Fiskars; Three Hearts Punch - EK Success/Stampin Up; XPress It Cardstock; Memento Ink - Tuxedo; Copics; Tim Holtz Mini Paper Clips; Letters - Webster's Pages; Button, Photo Corner & Tag - Misc

I also love going back to my Kit of the Month's. I often will just pick a month and set out my kit and go from there. Many of the stamps inspire me all on their own to get creating - or to make a specific card.
Here's a couple cards I came up with using the 2013 February Kit of the Month.

Supplies Used: Bazzill Cardstock & Kraft; My Mind's Eye Kraft Fun Day - Good Measure; Jenni Bowlin Ink - Fountain Pen; Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Black Soot; Three Hearts Punch - EK Success/Stampin Up; Tim Holtz Mini Paper Clips; My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Union Square "Favorite" Brads; Jillibean Soup Neopolitan Bean Bisque 12X12 Cardstock Stickers (phone dial sticker); Ribbon, Tag & Photo Corners - Misc.

For this next card I was also inspired by the talented Wilna Furstenberg over at twopeasinabucket.com. She did a video tutorial showing her technique playing with paints and I decided to try it out. To check out Wilna's video and to see the technique I also used for my card, click here.

Supplies Used: Bazzill Cardstock; Staz On Ink - Jet Black; K& Co Smash Tape; Mister Huey's - Atmosphere; Water Color Pencil Crayons & White Acrylic Paint; Buttons - Misc
It was really fun to try something new and so different from my usual style.
Hope you enjoyed my creations for you this week!
