Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge

I really enjoy playing along with the Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge. I love how they get me to create outside my normal "box". It seems to challenge me to keep things simple. And for some reason this is a big challenge. But I find it so satisfying when I actually accomplish a simple design I am happy with. This time around the inspiration for the challenge was this poster from Pinterest:

AMAZING - THANKS

I was inspired by the text on the poster, how it was laid out and the colors.

Supplies Used: Bazzill Swiss Dot Cardstock; Echo Park A Boy's Life - Suave; Jenni Bowlin Inks - Soap Powder, Spice Tin & Chicken Feed; Divine Twine - Blueberry; Buttons - Misc.

YOU'RE SPECIAL

I was inspired by the colors in the poster and its "graphic" look.

Supplies Used: Bazzill Cardstock; Echo Park A Boy's Life - Suave & Daydreamer; Jenni Bowlin Inks - Soap Powder & Spice Tin; Divine Twine - Orange; Three Hearts Punch - Stampin' Up; Button - Misc.

  1. Shilo - I love both of these cards! I really love the way you used the same patterned paper and color scheme on two cards that look completely different and are both so cute! I'm not sure what it was about this challenge, but I had a hard enough time coming up with only one card. LOL. Great job!
